Labor Working Group

The Olympia DSA Labor Working Group strives to assist workers in organizing their workplaces, to support workers (organized and unorganized), to build solidarity between DSA and labor unions, and to promote labor education and awareness. For more information, contact us at labor@olydsa.org.

The monthly Olympia DSA labor working group meetings are held every first 1st Friday of the month from 6-730PM at the Labor Temple Meeting Room (119 capitol way N, above the Brotherhood Lounge). This is where members of our chapter meet to discuss labor and union strategy.

Our national organization of the DSA has a national labor body as well, with several ongoing country-wide campaigns. Any DSA member who is active in the labor movement is welcome to apply and become a member of the National Labor Commission. Here is a link to their website where you can learn more.
